"Brian taught my son guitar lessons in person and online for about a year and a half. He is the kindest and most encouraging teacher you could imagine. He truly met my son where he was, each and every lesson. Brian read my son’s body language and was able to increase the challenge when Charlie was ready for it, and reduce the challenge when Charlie was feeling frustrated. Brian also gave us great advice on what equipment to buy, and taught Charlie a lot about how to care for (and even repair!) his guitars. Brian has such a wealth of knowledge and shared many many resources with us - lesson books, You Tube videos to watch and others to avoid, and methods for slowing down a track so beginners could learn more easily. Brian also has the Cool factor. He plays guitar with genius yet also with humility. He has COOL sound equipment and blew our minds when he turned up the speakers. Brian is a great teacher and a great man - the kind of caring adult you want your child to spend time with each week!"
